We are pleased to share our guide to spring 2021 upcoming events in and around New Hope, PA. Spring is here! It’s time to come out of hibernation and visit The Woolverton Inn. As the seasons change, the land comes to life around us. In our very own backyard, you’ll see the magnolia trees blossom and our beautiful weeping beech tree bloom once again. Find simplicity in the early moments with the morning dew on our grounds, beaming with rays of sunshine. When walking along the D&R trail you can hope to find a Bald Eagle nest, and even spot one of those marvelous birds yourself!
Some positive news… The Bucks County Playhouse in the heart of New Hope, Pennsylvania is finally back up and running! Check out the many wonderful shows they have to offer and dine out on ” The Deck” overlooking the Delaware River. Places are reopening throughout Lambertville, New Jersey and New Hope, PA, and the area is buzzing with excitement! Peddler’s Village will be hosting their Spring festivals and is always worth a trip, just to see their lovely gardens and visit interesting shops. With restaurants now at 50% capacity indoors and plenty of outdoor dining options, check out some of our favorites, such as Caleb’s Kitchen, Nektar Wine-Bar, and Zoubi Restaurant and Bar.
Calling all Art Enthusiasts:
Our area is full of art galleries, exhibits and installations. We are lucky to have a tremendous amount of local creative talent, you can find this is true through the hundreds of art galleries in the surrounding area. Experience The Hunterdon Art Tour and Prallsville Mill Art show, both on the first weekend in May. The Prallsville Mill Arts and Crafts show is less than 3 minutes down the street from The Woolverton Inn. As a matter of fact, The Prallsville Mill was built by the original owner of our inn! Thomas Kinkade
Flea Markets in our Historical District:
The Golden Nugget is a staple in our community. Open for the past 50 years, the locals consider it a “Gold Mine” for antiques and other treasures! Starting back in the late 1800’s, the oldest and largest market in Bucks County is Rice’s Market. Here you can find anything from produce to antiques, walk around the venders and explore a little of our area’s history.
