We’re truly honored that you are considering the Woolverton Inn for a getaway, special occasion , well-deserved down time, or “stay-cation.” Whatever the reason, we are here to make your stay everything you are expecting, and more!
We have six private entrance cottages, where you can spend your time here in seclusion. We will gladly deliver your breakfast, tea or coffee services, and afternoon treats, right to your door. These cottages are spacious, with indoor and outdoor seating, set back from the main house with lovely views in all directions.
The cottages have small refrigerators, and one room , named Carolyn’s Overlook, actually has a full kitchen, two bedrooms, TV, sitting room, and private deck.
There are 8 guest rooms in the main house. When possible, we are reducing occupancy to ensure appropriate social distancing among our guests.
Breakfast can still be served at separate tables for two – we will schedule your seating in advance and leave adequate space between guests. We have various seating options on our front porch, patios and in the dining room. Servers will bring everything to you, wearing a mask and gloves.
Our staff has been modifying procedures for check in, check out and other guest services to maintain social distancing and reduce contact points, while still providing the exceptional Woolverton hospitality that you deserve. In terms of planning your stay before you get here, or upon arrival, our website is a great source of information, but our staff is also well -informed, and available via phone, email , chat, text, and in person (of course at least 6 feet apart).
Housekeeping has always been a high priority at the Woolverton Inn, and we know how important our work is to your good health and safety. We are taking extra time to clean the rooms between guests, and will refresh your amenities by dropping a basket at the door. No staff member will enter your room during your stay, unless by request or in case of emergency. Common areas are cleaned daily, but you may see us doing this more frequently for extra precautions.
The Woolverton Inn sits on ten acres of preserved land, with many open spaces where you can enjoy the outdoors, get some exercise, visit the sheep. Adirondack chairs, patio tables and benches are positioned by themselves around the property. You can also bring your own blanket and just lounge on the lawn under a tree.
Every day is an opportunity for doing something new or making an improvement, and the past two months have been no different. We’ve been working inside and out to keep Woolverton Inn beautiful, clean and ready for visitors.
