Be inspired by lovely surroundings, creativity and springtime blossoms everywhere!

Each year, when the days start getting longer, and the sunshine warms the ground, it’s time to get outside, explore and discover new places. Lucky for us, there are always new finds around our towns of Stockton, New Hope, Lambertville and Frenchtown. A walk around town, taking in the outdoors, supporting local farmers and businesses, just feels good, and well-deserved. At and around the Woolverton Inn, when Spring in New Jersey arrives, there’s always something to keep you going. Some places are old favorites, and others are new. Here are a few ideas to tempt you on a Spring getaway to New Jersey, maybe just a night or two away, to renew your senses, refresh your mind, and inspire your own new ideas.

Take a walk around the property as Spring unfolds new life and beauty all around us. Say hello to the sheep before they lose their wool during the annual sheering!

We are proud to share our neighbor – The Farmer’s Table, a reinvention of the Sugar Maple Jerseys country store, just 3 miles up the road in Sergeantsville, NJ.  At “The Farmers Table,” every product in the shoppe comes from a local farm or farmer. They believe in honesty and integrity and relationships, knowing each farmer personally. They stand behind the farming practices and animal care of every single product carried. Some of their products include pasture raised pork, beef, chicken, and veal, as well as a wide assortment of farm fresh dairy products.  Their ice cream is delicious!

The Black Shed, in Kingwood, NJ, loves creating organic, nature-inspired environments for residential and commercial properties. They offer a unique approach to landscape design with experience in container gardens, rain gardens, rooftops and backyard arrangements. Plan a visit, and be inspired to transform your space from ordinary into an extraordinary experience. The Black Shed also has a full calendar of events so check their website for more information.
