Wineries and Breweries of Hunterdon and Bucks Counties

The farmland of Hunterdon and Bucks Counties provides fertile soil for our local vineyards, breweries and distilleries. These venues offer  stunning landscapes and an ongoing schedule of lively events. Many are deeply connected to the agricultural history.

Alba Vineyards, just north of Frenchtown, dates back to the late 1700’s, and was originally a dairy farm.  Their vineyards are the first cultivation of the land, ensuring a rich supply of nutrients for their grape vines.

Unionville Vineyards, close by in Ringoes, NJ, was originally part of the largest peach orchard in the United States. George Washington led his troops over much of this area.  They camped on the grounds nearby that now nourish some of their finest vines. Speaking of the first president, Crossing Vineyard is just minutes from the famous Revolutionary War crossing at the Delaware  on Christmas day. Learn more about area wineries and breweries at the Hunterdonn 549 Trail website.
