Located in New Hope, PA on the banks of the Delaware River, the Bucks County Playhouse first opened its doors in July 1939 with a production of Springtime for Henry. Bucks County Playhouse quickly became “America’s Most Famous Summer Theater.”
Following its quick rise to popularity, the theater has continued to produce quality shows featuring notable American theatrical actors for decades. To this day, the legendary performing arts theater produces shows year-round delighting more than 50,000 audience members annually.
