Biking, Hiking, Walking and Running
Biking is fabulous here! If you like flat, smooth, shady biking, try the towpath which goes for some 40 miles along the Delaware River in New Jersey. It's just down the hill from the inn. More trails await you across the river in Pennsylvania.
If you like hills and scenic countryside, there are routes right from the inn that take you along streams, over a covered bridge and along grand ridges with views of rolling farmland in every direction. We will be glad to help you plan your route.

"Sidewalk strolling" is great both in Lambertville and across the bridge in New Hope. Frenchtown, NJ is another great river town to explore on foot just about 10 miles north.
Outdoor enthusiasts might wish to hike along the cliffs in Ralph Stover State Park near Point Pleasant, Pennsylvania (about 5 miles north) for beautiful creek and valley views, or visit Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve, 2 1/2 miles south of New Hope.
